This week found us packing 15 Tons of Steel for export to the far east. This cast product is very brittle and extreme care was taken to ensure that it was packed securely for its journey. Note the use of Polystyrene to cushion the goods and foil bags to protect against moisture ingress.
This week has seen our staff working both in Middlesbrough as well as London. The Simulator was first loaded in Derby on the Saturday and then travelled to London on Monday morning where it was met by the same team.Here we can see WBC personnel unloading and positioning the Simulator at Clapham Junction Station, for SWR.As you can see with only 20mm clearance it was a case of slow and steady.

The client dropped them off, already packed, and we secured them in
their sea freight case complete with moisture absorbent Silica gel inside
the foil bags. We added a shelf, to the case, to distribute the weight.

‘This week has been a very busy one for the loading and unloading of containers, both G.P’s & Open Tops. Here we can see WBC personnel loading an Open Top using our purpose built access staging. Not only does it make it quicker, but also safer. Using this method and equipment meant that the container was stripped out, loaded and rebuilt in 2 hours – saving costs for the client. ‘

This week has seen us loading containers for one of our prestigious customers.
This item weighed over 6 tons, and took an experienced team to formulate the
correct RAMS to carry out the heavy lift.
Once in the container it was relatively easy to block out and ratchet strap the
item to ensure its safe arrival at destination.
